(VIDEO) Erykah Badu (aka DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown) & dead prez in Miami (Bardot) / Captured by Creative Control

Greetings Music Lovers,

So, dead prez just tore it down in Miami this past Sunday (Jan 15th) in honor of the MLK salute. The evening was DOPE and even featured a live ass DJ set by Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest). You know, it sort of reminded me of a night in Miami last January where dead prez was joined by Erykah Badu (aka DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown). I was more than pleased to turn the turntables over to her after our set. Needless to say, she didn’t disappoint! FRESH set by “Lo Down”. I didn’t even know this footage was out in the world till a few mins ago when a friend put me on to it. And when I found out it was shot by Creative Control (Chi City Stand Up!), I had to put it up…they did a GREAT job too…check it out.

Enjoy,

Power.

dead prez’s stic.man- classic new album is out now!

Stic.man’s new album ‘The Workout’ is inspiring a ‘fit hop” movement. This has never been done before. Powerful Lyrics, Raw music, Energy and Motivation, for hours of training. If you are a fan of dead prez classics like 50 in the Clip and Way of Life or Be Healthy, you’ll love it! Whether you are into running, weightlifting, bar work, vegetarianism, yoga, martial arts or just love killer flows and amped beats, this is one of those rare albums that comes along that really makes a lasting impact; there’s nothing like it out there, to compare it to…you gotta experience it!
